A meal trial, a pulse, then the animals

I put the published bowel-resection trial first in my suggested order because it asks for a patient outcome. Then the human timing study and founding selectivity paper explain what was measured in blood and in the early animal work.

For the troublesome weight story, compare the mouse adiposity that did not depend on GH with the ferret cisplatin experiment. Neither supplies a human fat-loss result.

The neighbours in the bibliography

The GHRH-analogue pig paper did not test Ipamorelin. NN703 and the derived peptide series concern modified relatives. The heart-toxicity study tested another ghrelin-receptor agonist in rats.

I resist putting those papers into one undifferentiated pile of support. Their different identities are the point. The source list below retains the bibliographic record for every entry.
